Sledging

There are two designated areas one by the ESF school and the other by the yellow gondolas at the top of town. Our kids often go after skiing.

The Spa.

Opened in 2011 the Spa is situated between the apartment and the village centre by the slopes. There are four areas inside: a fitness area, a massage area, a water/steam area and a childrens area. In summer there is a large swimming pool off the back with water slides. A basic week pass is 35 euros.

Nordic Walking.

If you decide not to go skiing you can go on trail walks with ski shoes, either during the day (or on Tuesdays at night). There are two companies that offer this: Evolution and Raqeutt’Evasion, (tel: 0033(0) 479 080665), the latter specialising in this activity. It costs 18-25euros per person.

Skating

There is a skating rink in Les Coches.

Bobsleigh

The Olympic bobsleigh is in La Plagne. You can either go alone on a slow bob, or join a professional. I am told it is exhilarating! Phone number: 0033 479 09 12 73.

Dog Sledging

You can go on a sleigh pulled by dogs, if you want to do something really different. It costs 35-80euros per person though! Tel: 0033(0) 609473207.
