Food on the Slopes - La Plagne Side
Chalets des Verdons Sud.
There is a large sun exposed terrace over-looking the slopes and a large area inside with a traditional alpine decor. There is a daily plat du jour, which is very good value (15 euros), and so tends to run out early. The Cote de Boeuf is huge. Book in high season.
Also has small outdoor snack/fast food area underneath for those wishing to ski on!

Good food, terrace to watch skiers coming down. Quick service. At the side of Belleplagne.
Chalet du Friolon
Good food, large portions, serving usual traditional fare at reasonable prices. Large out-door terrace surrounded by tree-covered valley. Situated just by start of Telesiege des Bauches. Beware skiing back down via blue run Route des Bauches as long portion where you need to do a lot of poling.
